How to Pull it Together: Object Assemblage Workshop with Sheila Nourse
We are thrilled to offer this afternoon workshop with featured artist, Sheila Nourse in tandem with our exhibition "III".
Are you interested in object assemblage art? Are you looking to elevate your collage practice to include 3D elements? Are you having trouble making the materials you want to use actually stick together? Not sure when a collage is 'finished'? Sheila will focus on these topics and more during this intimate, hands-on workshop. Benefit from the artist's 20+ years of material research and practice, and gain insight into the processes and concepts behind her compelling work.
Bring along some objects and materials that you'd like to work with, and get real-time feedback. Please avoid any materials that could create fumes or are dirty (e.g. oily, wet, or flaking off significantly).
