The Rosemont-Mount Royal Community Association in Regina is hosting a four-part writing workshop on writing about place, led by Kelly-Anne Riess.
Explore the rich history, nature, and community of West Regina in this four-part creative writing workshop. Through hands-on exercises and group discussions, you’ll learn to create vivid, sensory-rich writing inspired by local surroundings. Open to all genres and experience levels, the series concludes with tips on publishing and connecting with the larger Saskatchewan writing community.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., starting January 29 and running through February 19. The location is TBD.
The series costs $100, with proceeds supporting community schools.
To register, participants must buy a $5 community association membership, which provides access to programs hosted by any community association in Regina.
