Giving Tuesday: Métis Kitchen Party

Join us in launching Giving Tuesday: A Week of Giving with guest dance artists Yvonne Chartrand & Eloi Homier, and guest author Bruce Rice.

Giving Tuesday is the world’s largest giving movement, and occurs every year on the Tuesday after American Thanksgiving, this year falling on December 3rd. Last year, Canadians donated over $50 million in a 24 hour period.

This year, New Dance Horizons’s goal is to raise $2,500 towards the publishing of the NDH 40th Anniversary Archival Book.

NDH will open this fundraising campaign with a Métis Kitchen Party including:
- Métis Jigging for all!
-An introduction to the Lunar Standstill by Eloi Homier
(2025 Calendars : Moons Over The Salish Sea for sale)
-Reading from "Standstill: A Hopewell Earthworks Daybook and Other Essays" by author Bruce Rice
- Light refreshments
