National Indigenous Peoples Day 2024
Friday, June 21st, 2024, is National Indigenous Peoples Day, and everyone is invited to come and celebrate at Kinsmen Park
Celebrations will begin with the Pipe Ceremony from 9:00am to 10:30am, followed by the Unity Walk at 11:00am going from City Hall to the main stage at Kinsmen Park which will lead directly into the Opening Ceremonies at 12:00pm.
After the Opening Ceremonies the Villages will open, and a number of exciting activities will be taking place throughout the day.
The day will then end with the Closing Ceremony at 9:00pm followed by fireworks down by the Riverbank at 10:30pm!
Everyone is welcome to come and take part in the celebrations, with activities and teachings for people of all ages!
