Saskatoon a growing hub for artists in the province

Saskatoon represents an increasing proportion of artists in Saskatchewan. A recent Hill Strategies analysis found a 35% increase in artists in the Saskatoon Census Metropolitan Area between 1991 and 2021, higher than the provincial increase of 8%. While this increase is lower than the City's overall labour force (49%) and national artist growth (75%), Saskatoon has consistently seen a rise in artists since 2001, while the province has experienced only moderate changes.
