SGAP funding a big draw to new applicants

Over 73% of applicants to the the Small Grant Accessibility Program (SGAP), from 2021 to 2024, are first-time applicants to SaskCulture grant programs. Of these applicants, 17% went on to apply to other funding programs.
With a simplified application process and quicker turnaround time on results, SGAP is ideal for groups new to accessing funding. Since 2021, SGAP has granted over $173,000 in funding. The next deadline for funding is December 15, 2024, with applications opening soon.
