While Culture Days happens all around the province, many more Saskatchewan communities hosted Culture Days in 2024 thanks to the Culture Days Hub Sponsorship. This year, 39 hubs from different communities received support — a 26% increase in communities supported from last year, and a 290% increase from the introduction of the Hub Sponsorship in 2020. Of those that applied this year, at least 26 planned activities centered on Truth and Reconciliation — a 30% increase from the year before. In total, 51 communities hosted Culture Days, resulting in 315 registered cultural activities that engaged thousands of residents from September 20 to October 13, 2024.
