New program to lower barriers for aspiring musicians
A new program, offered by Saskatchewan Orchestral Association (SOA), aims to make beginner music instruction accessible to aspiring orchestral musicians by funding up to $600 for private lessons.
While supporting youth is a priority for SOA, this opportunity is open to anyone who has never played an orchestral instrument. Successful applicants must secure an instructor within 30 days of approval. The SOA is accepting applications until September 15 or while funds are available. Read more.
