New Poet Laureate for Saskatchewan
Congratulations to Gerald Hill of Regina, who is the new Saskatchewan Poet Laureate; his term will begin January 1, 2016 and will run until December 31, 2017.
Gerald is a two-time winner of the Saskatchewan Book Award for Poetry. In 2015, his sixth poetry collection, Hillsdale Book, was published with NeWest Press, and his book A Round For Fifty Years: A History of Regina’s Globe Theatre with Coteau Books.
