Creative Kids would like to send out a great big THANK YOU to all the organizers, sponsors and volunteers who put on an amazing Gala at the RCMP Drill Hall this past Saturday night in support of Creative Kids! Stay tuned for the final numbers of dollars raised to support creative activities for Saskatchewan children and youth.
At the Gala, PotashCorp announced its continued support of the Creative Kids Program, providing a $100,000 sponsorship for the third year in a row. Lee Knafelc, Vice President, Human Resources and Administration, PotashCorp, presented the cheque to Creative Kids at the RCMP Charity Gala Fundraiser.
"As a company, we appreciate that building healthy, culturally vibrant communities starts by giving young people opportunities. By exploring their creative talents through music, dance, art and self-expression, Creative Kids provides children with the right opportunity for each child," said Lee Knafelc, PotashCorp's Vice President, Human Resources and Administration. "We also know that children who become active in arts and culture do better in other subjects at school as they gain confidence and transferable skills. At PotashCorp, we strive to make the communities where we operate a better place for everyone - and that includes the youngest among us."
