Multilingual Association of Regina Inc.
The Multilingual Association of Regina (MLAR) is a Saskatchewan Registered non-profit corporation that provides services to what are referred to Heritage Language Schools in the Regina area so that these language schools can hold classes, mostly at Balfour and Campbell Collegiates in Regina, mostly on weekends. MLAR has established an agreement with the City of Regina and with the Regina Public School Board to allow its member language schools to access classrooms at the above two Collegiates. MLAR also provides teachers of these schools with an annual teacher workshop as they are not professionally certificated teachers. MLAR also supports the culture associated with these heritage language schools by supporting various other functions where students can display aspects of their culture at MLAR functions.
