Teaching English as a Subsequent Language Saskatchewan (TESL), formerly SCENES, is an organization of professional ESL teachers, administrators and volunteers formed in 1980. Its objective is to further the professionalism of ESL teachers through a better understanding and communication with the multicultural sector in Saskatchewan. It currently has 420 members. Two times a year, TESL Saskatchewan publishes its newsletter and offers an annual scholarship for immigrant youth to attend post-secondary education. It also provides funding for members' professional development
