Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan
The Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan (MCoS) is committed to promoting, fostering, improving and developing multiculturalism in the cultural, economic, social and political life of Saskatchewan, while working to achieve equality of all residents. MCoS is a leader in the promotion of multicultural values. It advocates and supports members and schools with financial support and tools, partners with other organizations and governments, and provides provincial coordination of multicultural initiatives. MCoS values are rooted in the provincial motto From Many Peoples Strength and expressed as respect for diversity, recognition and rejection of racism, intercultural connections and integration. MCoS supports members and schools to celebrate diversity, including promotion of Saskatchewan Multicultural Week, March 21 - the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination and Multiculturalism Day.
