Reporting to the Director of Education and Exhibits, the Museum Preparator is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, repair, and overall functionality of all of our permanent and temporary exhibits and facilities (spaces). As a children’s museum, Wonderhub’s exhibits are interactive and require regular maintenance to ensure they are fully functional and safe. This role involves managing approved department budgets, assigning tasks to a part time Museum Technician, researching and troubleshooting repair issues, and contracting various trades for complex repairs and installations.
