Funding Opportunity - Safe Communities and Healthy Relationships in Rural Saskatchewan
STOPS to Violence, Saskatchewan-wide
Deadline: March 26, 2025 - April 11, 2025
Are you passionate about making your community a safer place? Do you believe in the power of building on local assets, strengths and relationships?
STOPS to Violence would love to work with you!
‘Reconnecting Community’ uses an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to start with what’s strong, not what’s wrong in local communities. It is a way to see communities as full of potential that can be leveraged for solutions to their needs and problems.
This call is for communities who want to:
• Help to bring community together to learn and talk about how to make the community safer, support healthy relationships and nurture strong families
• Work together to address safety challenges and improve community well-being
• Focus on strengthening relationships and connections in your community
This initiative is for smaller communities with a population of 2500 people or less that are located in central or southern Saskatchewan. This includes towns, villages and First Nations.
