Orange Shirt Day - Call for Indigenous Artists

In recognition of Orange Shirt Day, Remai Modern is issuing a call for Indigenous artists to create a T-shirt design for the museum.

The winning design will be selected by a committee made up of the museum’s Indigenous staff. The selected artist will be notified the week of August 29-September 2 and will receive a payment of $1,000 for their design.

Submission requirements:

Preference will be given to applicants who are residents of Saskatchewan and self-identify as Indigenous.
In alignment with Orange Shirt Society policy, the design must include the slogan “Every Child Matters”.
Designs must be limited to two colours.
Artwork must be the individual’s original design and must be suitable for printing on an orange T-shirt.
Artwork should be submitted as a vector file to info@remaimodern.org.
Submissions must be received by Friday, August 26 at 5 PM CST to be considered.
