CHRC Student Work Placement Internship Subsidy 2022

The SWP program supports cultural sector employers in hiring post-secondary students with wage subsidies of 50%-70% of the full wage cost to a maximum of $5,000-$7,000 per placement. The subsidy is available for placements as of April 1st, 2022.
With funding from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), CHRC is offering a new round of funding into 2022-2023 for students of all academic fields to gain work experience.
This year, CHRC is offering a maximum 50% wage subsidy (maximum $5,000) for eligible placements, and a maximum 70% wage subsidy (maximum $7,000) for students confirmed to be part of a priority group!
