Visitor Services Team Lead – WDM North Battleford

The Western Development Museum - North Battleford is seeking a Visitor Services Team Lead, responsible for effective operation of the gift shop and visitor services at the WDM North Battleford.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversees daily visitor services and gift shop operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Onboards, trains, and schedules visitor services staff.
• Processes memberships, donations, and admissions, ensuring accurate and timely submission to the Corporate Office.
• Manages all aspects of gift shop merchandising, ensuring attractive displays and an optimal shopping experience. This includes inventory control (receiving, pricing, data entry, and stock monitoring).
• Conducts regular inventory audits, ensures accuracy in records, and completes year-end inventory reporting.
• Analyzes sales trends and pricing to maximize profitability.
• Manages cash handling, reconciles daily sales, prepares bank deposits, and maintains daily floats.
• Tracks purchase orders, processes accounts payable invoices, and prepares financial reports as required.
The successful candidate will have Grade 12 plus one-year post-secondary education and a minimum of 3 - 4 years of pertinent experience. Supervisory experience is an asset.
The work schedule is 72 hours per 2-week pay period. Some evening and weekend work is required. The WDM provides paid sick leave, participation in the Public Employees' Pension Plan (with employer contribution matching) and health and dental benefits as per the WDM Benefits Package.
