The WDM North Battleford is seeking a Programs Assistant for summer employment (16 weeks from May 5 – August 22). The Programs Assistant is responsible for planning and implementing public programming and will assist in the planning & implementation of education programs and with the creation and implementation of History in Motion.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Become familiar with all aspects of museums, specifically the WDM North Battleford.
• Update and present existing programs, activities and demonstrations.
• Assist with sponsorship research and development.
This position is dependent on funding from the Canadian Museums Association’s Young Canada Works program. Only students continuing full-time post-secondary studies in the fall semester will be considered.
