The Western Development Museum - Saskatoon is seeking a part time Custodian who is responsible for supporting the daily care and cleanliness of the buildings, exhibits, and grounds.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs routine custodial and cleaning services in all areas including public areas, museum galleries and exhibits, rental spaces, restrooms, storage rooms, and grounds.
• Ensures the safety and integrity of the collection generally and during the handling and cleaning of gallery artifacts.
• Properly documents and reports on day-to-day cleaning and maintenance, as well as any safety issues.
• Attends to urgent clean up situations.
• Monitors inventory and requests cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
• Performs closing opening and closing procedures for the Museum as scheduled.
• Plans and prioritizes work in consultation with the Facility and Grounds Supervisor, Exhibits Technician, Maintenance Technician, and custodial team to complete a range of assignments.

The work schedule is variable and part time in nature, up to a maximum of 72 hours per 2-week pay period. Weekend and occasional evening work will be required. The position works on-site at the WDM Saskatoon.
