**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**BUILDING MANAGER**
The Building Manager reports to the administrative direction and general co-direction, as well as the artistic direction and general co-direction, who support the La Troupe du Jour (LTDJ) team in fulfilling its mission and vision.
**ROLE**
The Building Manager is the face of the Theater. They are responsible for everything that directly and indirectly involves the public. They work in collaboration with all members of the La Troupe du Jour team to achieve the company’s mandate and operational objectives.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The Building Manager oversees and operates the ticketing for La Troupe du Jour’s performances and manages the scheduling and functioning of the building.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**TICKETING**
• Maintains good relationships with subscribers and spectators.
• Supports planning and manages the annual subscription campaign for La Troupe du Jour and maintains ongoing communication with subscribers and the general public.
• Supports planning and manages ticketing for performances in close collaboration with the communications and marketing manager and the administrative direction.
• Coordinates the sale of individual tickets and provides customer service for ticketing, in close collaboration with the communications and marketing manager and the administrative direction.
• Prepares reports on performances and ticketing after each show to ensure follow-up with accounting.
• Responsible for entering information for online ticket sales for each performance.
**BUILDING MANAGEMENT**
• Maintains good relationships with clients and suppliers of the organization.
• Ensures the proper management of the venue and rental of the different spaces in the Production Center, in collaboration with the technical direction and the general co-directions.
• Responsible for inventory and storage of office supplies, sanitary supplies, and other materials necessary for the proper functioning of the Production Center.
• Manages the operation of mechanical systems (air conditioning, heating, etc.) within the Production Center.
• Ensures the cleanliness of the Production Center's spaces based on their usage, in collaboration with the general co-directions and the janitor.
• Ensures that, during evening rentals, proper measures are taken to lock the premises, activate the alarm, and ensure that equipment remains intact.
• Collaborates with the communications and marketing manager to promote the Production Center, its rental spaces, and available services to the community.
• Manages the personnel required for rentals (bartender, security) in collaboration with the technical direction and the general co-directions.
Performs any other tasks related to the position or delegated by the general co-directions.
