(Positions starting Oct. 7, 2024 but we are open to applications year-round)
The Community Arts Mentorship Program is hiring experienced music teachers to work in La Ronge, Sucker River, Hall Lake, and Stanley Mission. This is a unique opportunity to provide long-lasting arts education in remote and underserved communities across Treaty 6 and Treaty 10 territories. Through these full-time teaching positions, we support communities until local capacity is built and arts programming is delivered locally.
What We Offer:
K-12 music education
Short-term (6 weeks) or long-term (up to 6 months) positions
Housing provided and mileage incentives
Support with curriculum and lesson planning through our Music In Schools Liaison
A Bachelor of Education Degree is not a requirement.
Funded by The Lac La Ronge Indian Band, this opportunity is all about fostering creativity and empowering communities through the arts.
