Executive Administrative Assistant

The South Saskatchewan Community Foundation is currently looking for an organized and detail oriented self-starter to join our team as a permanent full-time Executive Administrative Assistant. As the ideal candidate, you will have experience with office administration, including expertise in MS Office Suite and board governance administration. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will be responsible to act as a primary source of administrative, logistical and organizational support to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. This role will also support ongoing board and staff policy work. This is a full-time role (remote and in-office combination) at 35 hours per week.

Qualifications:

- Exceptionally organized and detail oriented;
- Board governance administration experience minimum 2 years
- Positive customer service attitude, efficient time management skills and clear problem-solving abilities
- Calm under pressure and able to work within strict timelines and deadlines
- Certificate from formal education and training in business and/or office administration experience of at least 3 years
- A high proficiency in spoken and written English
- Self-starter who is able to prioritize workload
- Positive customer service attitude, efficient time management skills and clear problem-solving abilities
- Experience with and sound knowledge of the principles of office administration
- Advanced level skill with Microsoft Office suite of products (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, Teams), videoconferencing software and have had experience with uploading board information to different platforms
- Experience working within Customer or Community Relationship Management (CRM) database
- Demonstrated personal passion for working with community-based or non-profit organization is an asset
