The Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) is seeking a motivated and energetic individual to fill the full-time permanent position of Administrative Assistant. SPRA is a network of recreation leaders dedicated to energizing our province and changing lives, empowered through funding from Saskatchewan Lotteries.
This position is responsible for office reception and providing administration support to specific Strategy and Program team members. As a collaborator within the Administration Team, this position is crucial in supporting key functions of the organization.
Roles
• Customer Service: reception, public inquiries, program/event registrations.
• Financial Operations: invoicing, payment processing, issuing receipts for event registrations.
• Office Operations: manages office supplies, mail preparation and distribution, filing and record management, office equipment operation and troubleshooting, database input.
• Staff Support: coordinating meeting logistics, agendas, briefing notes, minutes and Record of Decision, correspondence, drafting, editing and/or proofreading material.

Who is Our Ideal Candidate?
An individual who has:
• A diploma in office administration or related and/or a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• A keen attention to detail and strong organizational, time management, proofing, problem solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge and application of databases and Microsoft Office - including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and OneDrive. Experience with Sage Accounting is a tremendous asset.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team and contribute to an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.
