Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival (SOTS) has been producing the works of William Shakespeare in repertory on Treaty 6 territory on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River since 1985, attracting over 10,000 visitors provincially, nationally, and internationally annually to our summer festival. We strive to create a warm, relaxing, and inviting atmosphere for our patrons so they can truly enjoy their theatrical experience.

We’re looking for an outgoing and fearless individual brimming with creativity and drive. The ideal candidate will have superior oral and written communication skills, love working and connecting with people, and be adept at relationship building. The ability to say YES, AND while managing multiple high-level portfolios is key.
Key duties and responsibilities:
• Oversee sponsor relationship and ensure all sponsor recognition promises are fulfilled
• Oversee marketing plan to ensure sales targets are met
• Oversee the marketing department budget
• Create and implement strategies to attract, maintain, and engage audience members
• Work with the Social Media Intern to execute all social media posts and engagements – June but not summer
• Arrange, facilitate, or carry out all website maintenance and graphic design needs for the organization
• Be the first point of contact for all media requests and engagement for the 2022 Festival
• Write press releases, oversee media calls, and facilitate or participate in interviews to help promote the Festival
• Ensure the consistency, clarity, and accuracy of all communications, expand the company’s public profile, and generate interest in company projects
• Other duties as required
