The WDM is looking for a Facilities and Safety Manager to oversee building maintenance and occupational health and safety (OHS) at all WDM locations throughout Saskatchewan.
Our Facilities and Safety Manager is responsible for:
• The overall maintenance, safety and security of WDM facilities located in Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Saskatoon and Yorkton.
• Establishing and maintaining reports on infrastructure requirements for all WDM locations.
• Overseeing the WDM’s safety and security programs and ensuring compliance at all Museum locations.
• Ensuring the WDM meets its statutory obligations in areas of occupational health and safety, including statutory training and reporting.
This position requires a minimum 7 - 8 years of pertinent experience. A 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate (minimum) and safety certification is required. Certification in a related trade is an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
