Bardic Inspiration: A D&D Inspired Writing Playshop with author Victoria Koops

Join young adult author and self-proclaimed geek, Victoria Koops, for a role-playing game inspired playshop (like a workshop, but more fun) for young adventurers! Using elements familiar to both gamers and storytellers, such as character creation, backstory, and even some actual role-play, youth will develop their storytelling skills, both in game and "on-the-page" in real life! No prior experience points needed to enjoy this playshop, just bring some pencils, paper, and any other props that give you bardic inspiration!

Participants are asked to bring writing supplies and a little courage. Please note, this playshop will be a safe and inclusive space for all. This program is part of Canadian Children's Book Week.
