Curious about experiencing an ‘old-time polkafest’ with the whole family? Join us for Saskatchewan’s 21st century polkafest to celebrate community, music, and dance!
For ticket-holders, this family-focused event will feature over a dozen authentic old-time musicians performing good-old-fashioned polka, country, and old-time music over the course of the weekend. Not ready to try dancing just yet? Take part in dance lessons, both for beginners and folks ready to turn it up a notch!
There will also be an on-site bar run by the Biggar Lodge No. 100. and a 50s-diner themed canteen run by Biggar Bites, free coffee included!
And, on Sunday, don't forget to shine up your cowboy boots for a mainstage headliner performance by award-winning Metis musician JJ Lavallee and his JJ Lavallee Band + a Biggar Saturday Night Dance Club Fundraiser pancake brunch!
If you aren't able to snag a ticket, you can still enjoy two pancake breakfast fundraisers and eat at the 50s themed diner, both are open to the public! And don't forget to stop on by the Biggar Museum for their special Historical Display that will explore the history of music and dance in Saskatchewan or visit the Biggar Jubilee Stadium for a FREE vintage market that celebrates all things vintage, dated, or totally retro!
