Shapeshifter: A Solo Exhibition by Brody Burns
The 525 presents their third solo exhibition: Shapeshifter, by Cree artist Brody Burns.
Shapeshifter uncovers facets of the artist's life that represent change. Burns shares his stories through a series of large-scale paintings embellished by Artificial Intelligence, and explores how the hardships of change can be navigated from a place of hope. Shapeshifter is curated in collaboration with Curatorial Director Rowen Dinsmore and Guest Curator Hailey Weber.
The Closing Reception of Shapeshifter begins at 6:00pm on March 22nd; there will be an artist talk and walkthrough from 7:00pm-7:30pm to gain insight about Brody's work and practice. This will be an evening of community connection and celebration.
Additionally, Free Gallery Hours will be held on March 20th-21st, to facilitate an accessible viewing experience for everyone.
