Preparator Skills for Artists
Handling and installing your own artwork is a fundamental experience of exhibiting at artist-run centres, DIY spaces, and artist collectives. Moreover, an informed relationship to technical practices of displaying art objects will benefit any artist throughout their career.
Join Larissa Berschley MacLellan as she shares the lessons she’s learned over nearly 10 years working as a professional art preparator: Look forward to learning basic art handling techniques intended to keep both you and your artworks safe and and become acquainted with the common tools of the trade.
