"I believe that people build stronger bonds and closer relationships when they work together for a common goal. I also find we are less absorbed in ourselves when we are able to reach out and help others. Although I volunteer to help out whenever I can, I also finds volunteering helps ME. It has given me confidence and increased self-esteem, while helping out the many organizations that my own children have been a part of."

Jeanne is from Yorkton and volunteers with Yorkton Kalyna Dance, Yorkton Music Festival, and the Yorkton Soccer Association.
