Coordinator, Community Investments

This position manages the City’s Community Investment Grants Program which consists of various grant programs within Culture, Social Development and Sport & Recreation funding streams. The incumbent is expected to use sound project management methodologies to coordinate the work of a project team comprised of subject matter experts. Responsibilities include managing the priority setting, application, adjudication, grant administration, financial management and performance management elements of the program. The incumbent must work to ensure alignment of the program with approved public policy and corporate plans and to ensure processes reflect transparency, fairness, accountability and harmony across funding streams. This position supervises the Community Investments Clerk.
